The recent kick-off meeting organised by the SGC Women in Business Committee offered an overview of the upcoming SGC & Damenwahl Mentoring programme and was dedicated to the many personal, empowering stories of female leaders from various industries.  The full-house event was held on June 11, 2024, at the German Centre.

Committee Chairpersons, Ms Barbara Kinle (KPMG), Ms Tanja Jesemann (Paulaner Brauhaus (S) Pte Ltd), and Ms Silvia Imran (TÜV SÜD AG), shared their mission, vision, and commitment for the committee. The guest-of-honour, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Singapore, HE Peter Guschelbauer, presented a heart-warming speech in support of progressive gender equality and female leadership, while SGC President, Ms Shirley Qi, reflected on her personal success story, tracing her journey as a role-model who enjoys and balances her diverse roles as a business leader, mentor, and mother.
