SGC Breakfast Briefing on “Are companies prepared for the Asian Century?"

About the Breakfast Briefing:

The 20th century was largely shaped by Western business practices, policies and cultural exports. This is changing rapidly, as the rise and transformation of Asia is causing a shift that is turning Asia’s businesses, politics and societies more local in thought and action. Global business and politics are increasingly impacted by a continent that's coming of age. Join us as we discover what business leaders can do to anticipate this shift and grasp the opportunity in this new context. Along the way we will find out:

  • How engagement with governments, consumers and societies in Asia is changing
  • How organizations can apply a new mindset across their organization for more effective product, marketing, talent and public affairs strategies
  • How leaders can transform their teams to effectively manage diversity and bridge deeply rooted cultural differences
  • What role perspective change plays in improving leadership effectiveness and reading contexts and situations
