SGC Breakfast Briefing on “Are companies prepared for the Asian Century?"
Are you prepared for the Asian century? On our latest Breakfast Briefing Moritz Kaffsack, Co-owner & MD ati-sekai, took the audience on a journey – from Western influenced practices prevalent in the 20th century, to the present paradigm, where Asian influence is starting to play a larger role. Mr Kaffsack especially highlighted the importance of being able to adapt into new cultures, countries, and contexts, also known in Japanese as “Kuuki-Yomi”, or “Reading the Air”. More specifically, he pointed out that speed, local (not localized) products and the ability to attract talent is becoming increasingly essential for global businesses to prepare for the Asian Century.
