This year’s theme, “Navigating Global Shifts, Advancing Growth,” reflects the increasingly complex environment in which businesses operate. Geopolitical tensions, changing trade policies, technological disruption and evolving regulatory requirements continue to influence markets, supply chains and investment decisions. For companies, navigating these shifts requires reliable information, trusted partners and the ability to adapt quickly.
For more than two decades, the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) has contributed to the strong economic relationship between Singapore and Germany. By connecting companies, institutions and government representatives from both countries, SGC provides continuity and practical support to businesses seeking to establish, strengthen or expand their presence in either market.
In times of uncertainty, resilience depends on being prepared for change. Businesses must assess their exposure to geopolitical and operational risks, diversify supply chains and markets, strengthen digital capabilities and remain responsive to new regulations. At the same time, long-term growth requires companies to continue investing, innovating and building partnerships. SGC supports these efforts by providing market research and opportunities for meaningful exchange. Our committees, roundtables, expert briefings and business events help members better understand emerging developments, share experiences and identify practical solutions.
The active participation of our members underlines the strength of our network. Business delegations between Germany and Singapore further demonstrate the depth of bilateral cooperation and the continued interest in both markets. As the one-stop platform for Singapore-Germany business relations, SGC connects companies with the right stakeholders, facilitates market access and helps transform business opportunities into meaningful partnerships and commercial outcomes.
On the occasion of the Day of German Unity, we would like to thank our Board and Advisory Council, Gold members, members, committees, clients and partners, as well as the Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammer (DIHK), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the German Embassy in Singapore and the Singapore Embassy in Germany. Their continued support, together with the commitment of our wider network, remains essential to our work and to the advancement of Singapore-Germany economic relations.
Finally, we extend our sincere appreciation to the SGC team for their dedication and hard work. Together with our members and partners, we will continue to help businesses navigate global shifts, strengthen their resilience and pursue sustainable growth.
