Digital Purchasing Initiative: Southeast Asia
The Southeast Asia Purchasing Initiative is a unique opportunity to get to learn more about the region’s vast potential as a sourcing region and to meet new suppliers. In collaboration with the BME (Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V.) and our sister Chambers in the region, we support participating German companies in finding and meeting potential new suppliers across various industries and sectors.
In 2026, the B2B matchmaking meetings will focus on specific product groups, including: metal structures, cast and forged parts, stamped and bent components, injection-molded plastic and electronic parts, welded assemblies, production materials, assembled components, and engineered parts. IT and engineering services will also be part of the agenda. By concentrating on selected product categories, the event allows SMEs to tap into the regional supplier market in a qualified and efficient way. As such, it offers a valuable platform for identifying alternative sourcing options.

This initiative is part of the Market Entry Programme for German SMEs, funded and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
