Insights into the Workplace Fairness Act 2025
In January 2025, Singapore’s Parliament passed the landmark Workplace Fairness Act (WFA), introducing a statutory framework to promote fair and non-discriminatory employment practices across the entire employment lifecycle. At our upcoming SGC Human Resources Committee meeting, participants will gain key insights into the WFA’s scope—from recruitment to termination, internal HR policies, and employment pass processes.
Mr Jason Chan, Manager of Industry Outreach and Marketing at TAFEP, and Mr Sebastian Blasius, Attorney-at-Law at Gateway Law Corporation and Chairman of the HR Committee, will guide attendees through the new legal requirements and provide practical steps to prepare for the implementation of the WFA.
