12th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business Partnership – Innovation – SustainabilityThe Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) is proud to host the most important conference of German business in the Asia Pacific region – the ‘Asien-Pazifik-Konferenz’ (APK) from 13-15 May 2010.
The conference is scheduled under the theme “Partnership – Innovation – Sustainability”, and will be chaired by the Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business, Dr Jürgen Hambrecht (BASF SE), together with the Mr Rainer Brüderle, German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology.
Less than 100 days are remaining until the 12th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business is taking place in Singapore for the very first time. Renowned speakers will be giving their most competent input on the overall topic “Securing the Needs of a Growing World Population” on the first day in English, and on “Enhancing German Competitiveness in Asian Markets” on the second, German-speaking day. We are also honoured that Trade Ministers from ASEAN countries confirmed their attendance and will be sharing their insights on “The Asian Perspective”, thereby enriching the bilateral dialogue during this year´s APK.

The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2010 is a unique opportunity for all delegates to discuss the future of the Asian-German partnership together with more than 500 expected decision makers from business and politics. Ample networking opportunities will be coming up, such as during the Welcome Evening in the German Centre, the Singapore Evening, and the Final Evening Reception hosted by the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology.
